If you’re dining out this weekend, look for area restaurateurs who will be donating a portion of their proceeds to aid the recovery efforts in Haiti. Today we received word of two such benefits. This from Biwa:
This Sunday, January 17th, we will be contributing 10% of our sales to aid victims of the earthquake and we hope very much that you can help us!
And this from Lincoln:
Lincoln will be donating 5 percent of our food sales this weekend to Mercy Corps ongoing Haiti relief efforts. If you don’t know Mercy Corps, they are a team of 3700 professionals with extensive experience in responding to crisis around the world.
As need continues there will likely be other restaurants donating portions of sales to the effort. Keep your eyes peeled. We will too.

On the 21st, Marco’s Cafe in Multnomah Village is going to be donating 25% of all proceeds:

As if you needed any more reason to go there. The place is phenomenal.
BIWA it is.
Wow. 5%? That’s like finding a nickel on the way to the bus stop. How generous.
Racha Thai and Asian Kitchen (Clackamas Town Center) will donate 50% of proceeds on Sunday, Jan. 24.
